The Mixed Media Card Challenge #11 {Wings} + Design Team Call

Say hello to the month of May! That means it's time for a new mixed media card challenge theme. For May, our theme is "WINGS". Show us your mixed media cards that feature things with wings: butterflies, birds, dragonflies, fairies, planes, angels, etc. "Foil" is an optional element.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Create a mixed media CARD based on the theme, with or without the optional element.
2. Display the challenge graphic on your blog post and link back to this challenge post.
3. You may enter as many times as you want, as long as each entry is different.
4. You may combine a maximum of 7 challenges (6 other challenges plus ours).
5. Submit your projects by May 25, 11:55 p.m. PDT (GMT-7).
6. We'll announce the winner and highlights on May 31.

DESIGN TEAM CALL
Our challenge blog turns one in July and I'm looking for a few new mixed media card artists to be part of the design team as we enter our second year. As a design team member, you'll:
  • create one mixed media card a month based on a theme (reminder cards are optional)
  • comment on your assigned entries
  • pick your favorite and vote on the winner
Interested? If you'd like to be considered, create a mixed media card based on this month's theme and link it up to the gallery. So that I know you're applying, add "DT" after your name (e.g., Your Name - DT).

Successful applicants will be notified by June 5, introduced here on the blog on June 20, and officially start their term on July 1.

All the cards are gorgeous but I especially like Jenny's with her gelli plate print and butterflies. Thanks DT members for all of this wonderful inspiration. Also thanks for the chance to perhaps join the Design Team.
